Jason Mraz Concert

Jeff got me Jason Mraz concert tickets for my birthday back in September. The concert was last night and it was so much fun. He is a great artist. He is so talented and I love his music. He was also really entertaining and funny so it made for a great show.

Being smashed by a ton of people. Everyone wanted to be as close as they could so we were packed in tight.

We love visitors!

A few weekends ago my parents came to visit Houston. It was so much fun showing them around the city and all the great things it has to offer. We had so much fun with them and were sad to see them go. We love visitors, so if you ever need a cool place to visit - come to HOUSTON! =) Although I take after them in many areas, my love of pictures did not come from them . . . hence, we only have 3 pictures of the whole weekend! Too bad!

BYU Football game in Texas!

So Jeff and I went with some of Jeff's family and drove four hours north of Houston to go and see BYU play TCU. We miss going to the games in Provo and BYU is having such an amazing season, so we were excited to go up and cheer on our Cougars. Sadly, the game was not so great and we lost our first game of the season. Bummer. It was still fun to cheer on our Cougars though.

I thought these little "football Dr. Peppers" were so cute. We needed them to drink away our sorrows because the Cougars weren't doing so well.

Show in the Park

One of the great things about living in the downtown of a major city is that there is so much fun stuff to do. Herman Park is like the "central park" of Houston, and Jeff and I always hang out there since it is close to our apartment. Every Saturday they have a free show in the park under the stars.

Happy 26th Birthday Jeff!!!

Happy Birthday Jeff! Jeff's actual birthday was on Thursday, October 9. My parents flew in that day to visit for the weekend so we went out to dinner at a fun restaurant downtown. It had the best ambiance and food. Then on Saturday we had a little party at Jeff's sister's house. I wish I could take credit for this beautiful cake but I can't! His sister Rebekah is so good a making beautiful cakes that taste as good as they look! I hope you had a great "birthday weekend" hun! You are such a wonderful husband and deserve it! I love you!!

A float down the river

We had a fun time going with Jeff's sister's family to go and float down a river in tubes. The river has some parts that has rapids that were formed to be like waterslides that would shoot you down narrow tunnelways, and then the rest of it you kind of just sit back, relax, and enjoy floating in the sun in the warm water. We had a great time.
